One time I passed out on the Paris metro, it was jam-packed and I could easily have gotten trampled. These lovely strangers helped me off the train, offered to get me food from a vending machine, and one of them even saved my glasses. I’m effectively blind without them. Tm so hugely grateful that they not only saved me but also my glasses.
